Hi there! My name is Stephen, and I have had a passion for gaming since I was a child when I played my very first video game, Pokémon Red. Since then, I have gone on to play hundreds of games across all types of genres. While I love immersing myself in worlds, stories, characters, and gameplay, I also enjoy talking and writing about them. I previously had another blog, which was modest and received annual views in the thousands; however, I wanted a fresh start after a couple of years' break from writing.

So here we are with my new website - JustKeepGaming!

I will be writing about all things gaming - from reviews and essays to news updates, and more.

Here are some typical questions and answers about me and this website that I think my readers will want to know:

Favourite video game genre?

I have a handful that I usually gravitate to, however, the ones I play most and get excited for the most are RPGs, including JRPGs.

Particular favourites are The Elder Scrolls, Mass Effect, Final Fantasy, The Witcher, to name a few.

Other genres I love are action-adventure and puzzle games.

Favourite game of all time?

This is an easy one (although a top 10 or 20 will be hard to decide) with The Witcher 3 being, in my opinion, the greatest game ever made.

The story, characters, combat, exploration are all top-notch. But it is the phenomenal side quests that set it apart from all the rest. No other game has had such quantity and quality at the same time. Each quest felt compelling and worthwhile.

Don't even get me started on both the expansions...

Review Scale

Review scores have been debated for years and always cause contention and debate in the industry, however, here is how I describe each score. (I will use 0.5 if I can't decide one or the other):

1 = Practically Unplayable

2 = Awful

3 = Bad

4 = Poor

5 = Mediocre

6 = Okay

7 = Good

8 = Great

9 = Amazing

10 = Masterpiece
